40 Pennsylvania Colleges Among Best In USA: Forbes

College rankings from Forbes Magazine name 650 schools, including 40 in Pennsylvania, that it says are the best in the country for 2019.

Names like Harvard, Stanford and Yale predictably topped Forbes’ list. The magazine says that whether a school ranks among the top 10 or is closer to the bottom, the institutions “count as the best in the country.” A total of 40 Pennsylvania schools earned that distinction.

The annual Forbes rankings examine colleges that deliver the best academics, highest salary, and lowest debt.

The Keystone State was led, predictably, by its Ivy League institution. The University of Pennsylvania placed sixth overall on the list, which was led by Harvard University.
