LANSDALE, PA — The North Penn School District has launched a new campaign in support of the $8.8 million renovation project of Crawford Stadium.

The "Stadium for the Future" campaign is supported by 2009 graduate and Super Bowl 50 champion Brandon McManus, who will partake in a pair of events promoting the renovations.

For years, the soil conditions at Crawford have been too poor to be used by teams, forcing North Penn to use neighboring facilities. Renovations will include a new turf field to support both the school and community groups.

The stands will also be made handicapped accessible, and the bathrooms will be improved to more adequately serve the thousands of expected visitors.

"The success of Crawford Stadium will be the product of the hard work, dedication, and loyalty of each and every member of our community and a great source of pride for generations to come," the district said in a statement.
