UPDATE: Montco Community College Cleared After Bomb Threat

Classes and activities will resume at 4 p.m. following an earlier bomb threat.

UPDATE: Authorities have given the all-clear at Montgomery County Community College’s Pottstown campus, following a mid-morning bomb threat.

The college “has just been cleared and is now open. Classes & activities resume at 4,” MCCC Tweeted.

A bomb threat has been reported at Montgomery County Community College on the West Campus, the school announced via Twitter on Thursday morning.

The college posted their warning posted at 11:45 a.m.

All students have been asked to evacuate the campus.

The West Campus is located in Pottstown. The evacuation is only for students at the Pottstown campus.

There was also a bomb threat at nearby Bucks County Community College on Thursday morning. Police have since checked that campus and given the all clear. No explosives were found.

The Pottstown campus is located on 101 College Drive.
