Child Struck, Killed By Driver In Hatfield Township: Police
An investigation into the incident, which shut down traffic Wednesday night, is ongoing.
HATFIELD, PA — A child was killed in Hatfield Township Wednesday night after being struck by a car while trying to cross Bethlehem Pike, police said.
The incident occurred at around 9:30 p.m. near the intersection with Walnut Street.
A 2023 Hyundai Sonata was heading north when it struck the child, police said.

The child was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later declared dead.
Traffic was shut down for hours on Bethlehem Pike in both directions between Walnut Street and N. Broad Street as crews responded to the scene.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing and is being led by the Hatfield Township Police Department Highway Safety Unit
No charges have been announced.
