Cops: Alleged Home Invader Sat In Garage With Beach Chair, Scented Candle

"Oh, I thought this was my homie's," the suspect allegedly said when confronted at the Lansdale home.

A Philadelphia man was caught sitting inside a Lansdale garage on a beach chair with a scented candle at his foot, according to multiple reports.

The man also had a milk crate set up as a foot rest and had set his phone case down on top of a bag of gardening debris, according to a story by The Reporter.

“Oh, I thought this was my homie’s,” Marcus Taylor Bellamy, 23, allegedly said when confronted by the homeowner.

Bellamy walked out of the garage and the homeowner called for help, leading several neighbors to come out and tackle Bellamy to the ground, according to reports.

“Ok, you got me,” the apparently diminutive Bellamy said, reports state.

Officials said it was unclear what Bellamy was doing inside the garage.

The homeowner did not recognize Bellamy and said that Bellamy did not have permission to sit inside of the garage, according to reports.
