Drunk Lansdale Woman Crashes Car, Keeps Driving To Get Wawa Hoagie: Report

A drunk Lansdale woman drove away from the scene of an accident to get a hoagie at Wawa, reports state.

LANSDALE, PA -- A Lansdale woman allegedly crashed her car while drunk in Upper Gwynedd, and then left the scene of the accident to go to Wawa for a hoagie, according to a report.

Ashley Hanlon, 36, has been charged with misdemeanor DUI and careless driving, along with related counts, according to court documents.

The Times Herald reports that the incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 4 near the intersection of Route 202 and DeKalb Pike.

Hanlon allegedly crashed into the curb at that intersection, then kept driving to Wawa, where police noticed the damage and confronted her outside, the report states.

After failing sobriety tests with a BAC of .16, she reportedly told police she had continued driving after the accident to get a hoagie at the Wawa on the 500 block of DeKalb Pike.
