With cuts to our state budget and block grants to counties looming, along with the critical need for housing and employment opportunities for people living with mental illness, the education of our state legislators, our policy makers, the business community, and the general public about mental illness is more important now than ever. As facts and data can be important in this effort, there is nothing more compelling than the personal story of a lived experience. This workshop will teach you how to tell your story, whether you are an individual living with mental illness or a family member/caretaker of someone living with mental illness, in the most effective way.
No charge —refreshments provided and open to the public.
Please RSVP by Friday, September 21st to 215-361-7784
