Looking for a great way to spend a night out that won't break the bank? Bring the whole family and enjoy a great movie, A Smile as Big as the Moon.
This 2012 release is about a special-education teacher and football coach in Michigan who respects his students and believes they’re capable of achieving great things. When he hears about Space Camp, a competitive education program at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Alabama, he decides that participating in the program will do wonders for the self-esteem of his young students―one in particular who wants to be an astronaut.
But the class’s participation is blocked at every turn―by school administrators, lack of funding, and the emotional issues of his students. Despite these obstacles, he pushes forward to make the dreams of his students come true. A Smile as Big as the Moon is based on a true story and stars John Corbett, Jessy Schram, Moira Kelly and Cynthia Watros.
Admission is FREE, and we'll even provide the popcorn and snacks. Also, child care will be provided for children up to 2nd grade. Invite a friend or neighbor and enjoy a great night out together as a family!
