Historian Lisa Minardi will talk about the influential Muhlenberg family; Lutheran minister Henry Melchior, his son Frederick, first speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and others in the family who played active roles in our region’s history. Lisa has researched this remarkable family and many of the objects associated with them. Her recent book, Pastors & Patriots: The Muhlenberg Family of Pennsylvania, will be available for purchase and signing.
