Roads Closed, SEPTA Delayed Following Lansdale Fire
Breaking: Crews are on the scene of a fire at a building in Lansdale Sunday, as local roads were shut down and SEPTA was delayed.

LANSDALE, PA — Firefighters battled a blaze in rainy conditions in Lansdale early Sunday evening.
The fire was first reported at around 6:18 p.m. on the 100 block of Walnut Street.
The blaze appears to have begun in the basement of a three story building, with a storefront on the first floor and apartments on the second and third floors, according to authorities. It's located near the Lansdale Tattoo Company and American Shave House.

A second alarm was struck sometime around 7 p.m. Large plumes of smoke were visible in the sky.
Main Street has been blocked off to traffic at Walnut Street.

SEPTA said that the Lansdale/Doylestown line could be experiencing delays up to 20 minutes due to the fire's proximity to the Lansdale train station.

It's not yet clear what caused the fire or if there are any injuries.
