Fire Battled In North Wales Wednesday Night

Firefighters were on scene for two hours putting out the blaze.

NORTH WALES, PA — A building fire erupted in North Wales Wednesday night, leading to a response from several area fire departments who spent hours on the scene.

The incident occurred at around 7:55 p.m.

Crews arriving on scene began ventilating the structure and ran a secondary line.

North Penn Volunteers were assisted by several other teams, including Upper Gwynedd Township Fire Department, the Fire Department of Montgomery Township, and Wissahickon Fire Company.

Firefighters were eventually able to control stubborn blaze.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is not clear.

All told, crews were on scene for about two hours, officials said.
