Forty Foot Road Bridge Into Towamencin To Be Rehabilitated
The Forty Foot Road bridge over a branch of the Skippack Creek, connecting Lower Salford and Towamencin, will be rehabilitated.

TOWAMENCIN, PA — Construction crews will rehabilitate a bridge over a branch of Skippack Creek connecting Towamencin and Lower Salford townships, according to Gov. Tom Wolf's office.
The project is one of nine bridge rehabilitation projects in the Philadelphia area announced by the governor's office this week.
"Infrastructure investment is crucial, and bridges are a critical part of our network. Not only do they connect communities, but they support commerce and foster economic growth," Wolf said. "This bridge improvement project is our latest in the ongoing effort to address structurally-deficient bridges throughout the state."
