Groundbreaking Ceremony for New Community Center is Thursday

Montgomery Township will break ground on its new Recreation and Community Center during a ceremony Thursday.

The new 40,000 square-foot facility will feature a multi-use gymnasium with two basketball courts, a suspended indoor track, a cardio and weight room, exercise studios, community rooms, an outdoor playground with a spray park and more.

The public is invited to Thursday’s groundbreaking ceremony, which will begin at 8 a.m. at the construction site, 1030 Horsham Rd. 

In the event of rain, the ceremony will be performed in the township meeting room.
