High-Rise Apartment Building Proposed at Former Third and Walnut Bar
Third and Walnut Bar in Lansdale closed in May after the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board did not renew its liquor license.

A proposal to construct an apartment building at the site of the former Third and Walnut Bar in Lansdale was reviewed Monday by the borough Planning Commission. The bar closed in May after the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board did not renew its liquor license.
The 65-unit, six-story high-rise building, proposed at 43 West 3rd Street, is still “very conceptual,” a Lenape Valley Engineering employee told the Planning Commission Monday, according to The Reporter.
The next meeting of the Lansdale Borough Planning Commission is scheduled for April 20 at 7:30 p.m.
