Hot Air Balloon Makes Emergency Landing In Montgomery County

Roads were closed in Montgomery County Sunday evening after a hot air balloon made an emergency landing in the street.

GREEN LANE, PA — Roads were closed in Montgomery County Sunday evening after a hot air balloon made an emergency landing in the street.

The incident occurred at around 8:30 p.m. on Gravel Pike in Green Lane, authorities said.

According to the officials, the balloon ran out of fuel, and had to make an unscheduled, emergency landing in the middle of the road.

Images of the balloon showed it blocking the entire road, leading to road closures and delays.

There were no injuries reported during the incident.
