HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Authorities are continuing to investigate after a man was struck and killed in Hatfield Township over the weekend.

Police are also looking for any witnesses who may have information on the crash to step forward.

The incident occurred at 6:19 a.m. near 1330 N. Broad Street.

A 2013 Mercedes Benz SUV was heading west when it struck a 34-year-old man who was walking in the road, police said.

The driver stopped his vehicle immediately and remained on the scene, police said.

Volunteer Medical Services Co. arrived to provide assistance but the man was declared dead.
