Investigation Continues Into Montgomery Twp. Crash That Hospitalized 3

Three people were seriously injured in the crash, and authorities are asking for more information from any eyewitnesses.

LANSDALE, PA — Authorities are continuing to investigate a crash in Montgomery Township last week that hospitalized three people.

The incident occurred on Dec. 27 at 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Horsham Road and Stump Road.

A black Mercedes S550 was heading east on Horsham Road when it collided with a maroon Mazda CX-5 that was headed south on Stump Road.

The driver and both passengers in the Mazda were taken by ambulance to Abington Hospital, where they were treated.

The accident shut down the intersection of Horsham Road and Stump Road for about five hours as the post-accident investigation began. Traffic was backed up throughout the area.

The Montgomery Township Police Department’s Highway Safety Unit is continuing to investigate.
