“As Quinlan struggled to come to terms with the death of her mother, she discovered her mother’s “God Boxes,” filled with hundreds of personal petitions,” a press release for the presentation states. “The notes reveal things about her mother and herself that she never knew and driving her to the ultimate challenge – learning to let go. Attendees will watch as Quinlan explores the laughter and tears of the story of a family in love, in loss and in triumph. A reception and book signing will follow the show.”
Quinlan cared for her father, Ray Finlayson, with the help of the Grand View Hospice, over the last six weeks of his life.
