Lansdale Auto Shop Owner Convicted Of Child Rape: Authorities
The local business owner faces life in prison at an upcoming sentencing.
LANSDALE, PA — A Lansdale business owner was convicted of multiple counts of child rape and related charges, according to court documents.
Ross Colket, 53, of Hatfield, was found guilty in a jury trial. He owns the Colket Automotive Technical Services shop on 1513 N. Broad Street in Lansdale.
Colket will be sentenced at a later date but faces life in prison.

Details on the case were not immediately made available. In addition to two counts of child rape, Colket was also found guilty of aggravated indecent assault of a child, endangering a child, and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child.
Colket was taken into custody back on Feb. 7, 2023.

He had been free on bail but was booked at Montgomery County Correctional Facility following the verdict.
Sentencing is slated for Sept. 5 before Judge Thomas P. Rogers.
