Lansdale Farmers Market Planning For Temporary New Location
Organizers are hoping to move the Lansdale Farmers Market to a new location so they can remain open during the coronavirus outbreak.
LANSDALE, PA — Organizers are hoping to move the Lansdale Farmers Market to a new location so they can remain open during the coronavirus outbreak.
The market has tentatively planned to open up at 9th Street on Lansdale. This new location is dependent upon a final vote from Lansdale Borough Council, which is scheduled to address the issue at their May 20 meeting.
If all goes as planned, the market will hold their highly anticipated opening day on June 6.

The market has not yet announced exactly how they will handle social distancing and public health guidelines at the market. Other markets, such as the farmers market in Phoenixville, have remained open amid the pandemic, allowing shoppers to proceed through their line of tents one at a time.
The location at Pennsdale Middle School is unavailable while school property remains closed.
