Lansdale Man, 25, Running for County Commissioner

Joseph Gale is seeking the Montgomery County Republican Committee's endorsement.

A 25-year-old Lansdale man announced this week he is running for county commissioner and wants the Montgomery County Republican Committee’s endorsement.

Joseph Gale, who graduated from Temple University with a degree in finance and real estate, submitted a letter to the party’s committee members this week seeking the endorsement, according to reports.

West Norriton commissioner Steven Tolbert, former Montgomery County commissioner Thomas Ellis and former Lower Merion commissioner Brian Rosenthal are also seeking an endorsement from the county’s Republican Committee, according to The Times Herald.

The party’s endorsement convention is later this month, the Times Herald reported.

Gale once served as chairman of the Montgomery County Young Republicans, according to The Intelligencer.

“I will offer Montgomery County voters a fresh vision for the future and the conviction to not only talk-the-talk but walk-the-walk — freeze and prioritize spending, oppose tax increases, fund earned employee pensions and end politics as usual,” he told The Intelligencer.
