Lansdale Man Allegedly Choked, Headbutted, Threatened To Kill Wife: Report

"Die (expletive), die," the man reportedly yelled at his wife, head-butting, choking and beating her before putting a pillow over her head.

LANSDALE, PA -- A Lansdale man has been arrested for allegedly head-butting, choking and beating his wife before putting a pillow over her head and threatening to kill her.

Robert Regan Swartz, 49, of the 400 block of Derstine Avenue, got into a fight with his wife on the morning of March 2, according to a report.

During the argument Swartz allegedly leapt on top of his wife, choked her for two minutes, threatened to kill her, then put a pillow over her head, yelling "Die (expletive), die," the report states.

He then put both of his hands in her mouth and tried to "rip her mouth apart," The Reporter said. He then slapped and head-butted her several times, before falling asleep in the living room.

The victim was too scared to call the police, but after receiving morning headbutting the following day, she called authorities, reports state.

Swartz is being held in jail in lieu of bail. A preliminary hearing is set for March 21.
