Lansdale Native Passes At 39, Remembered For Love Of Drawing

Joseph James Kelleher, just 39, grew up in Lansdale. He had a passion for pastels, charcoal, and all kinds of drawing.

LANSDALE, PA — Joseph James Kelleher, of New Britain, died on Friday, November 3, 2017. He was 39.

Born in Lansdale, he was the son of Thomas Kelleher and his wife Nan of New Britain and Eileen Moore Crane and her husband Gary of West Chester and maternal grandson of Helen Moore of Belvidere, NJ.

Joe grew up in Lansdale and was a 1996 graduate of Pennridge High School and recently was working with Weis Markets in Plymouth Meeting. He was a gifted artist and was talented enough to study with some of the best in the area at The Art Institute of Philadelphia. He worked with many different art mediums, however, his passion was for drawing. It didn’t matter if it was with pastels, charcoal, pen or pencil he loved it and shared his talents with his family and friends.

In addition to his parents and maternal grandmother, Joe is survived by his two brothers; Brian Kelleher of Quakertown and Sean Kelleher and his wife Michele of Henderson, NV. He is also survived by his two nieces, five nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until his Funeral Service 11:00 AM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 241 East Butler Ave., (at Sandy Ridge Rd.), New Britain, PA 18901. His interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a Charity of the donor's choice
