Lansdale Policeman Wears High Heels For Domestic Violence Awareness
Sgt. Alex Kromdyk has joined forces with several other area policeman for the cause.

A Lansdale police sergeant has organized an mile walk event in which men wear high heels to raise awareness for domestic violence, according to a story by The Reporter.
Sgt. Alex Kromdyk is working with several other policemen in the region to put on the event, the report states:
In keeping with the saying, “You can’t really understand another person’s experience until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes,” the “Walk a Mile” concept, according to the founders of the event — which has become an international movement since its beginnings in 2001 — involves asking men to walk one mile in women’s high-heeled shoes as a playful, attention-grabbing way to foster serious conversations in communities about violence against women.
