Lansdale 'Prepared' for Storm, Snow Emergency in Place

A snow emergency is in place in Lansdale Borough, according to the Police Department.

Lansdale Borough officials say they are prepared for the snow, which is expected ramp up Monday evening and stick around until Tuesday. Crews are out preparing “known trouble spots,” according to an announcement from the borough.

A snow emergency is in place in Lansdale Borough, according to the Police Department. The snow emergency was implemented as of noon Monday and will stay in effect “until further notice,” according to the borough.

“A snow emergency means that all vehicles parked on those streets where signage indicates no parking during a snow emergency are required, by law, to be moved elsewhere in order to allow snow plowing of the road surface. These restrictions are put into place for the purpose of public safety as well as the efficiency of snow clearing on Borough streets; vehicles in violation are subject to ticketing and/or towing by the Lansdale Borough Police Department,” according to the borough.
