Lansdale Provides Update On Wonky Payment System

Customers had been having issues with their balances in the online portal. Officials say the situation should resolve itself.

LANSDALE, PA — The borough of Lansdale is facing increasing frustration from customers over the conversion to their new billing system.

Officials say they're working to resolve the issues, which include payments and outstanding balances reflecting incorrectly on the online portal.

"We appreciate the feedback that we have received in person or via message; while difficult to hear, we understand that the impact to customers was genuine," the borough said in a statement. "We want to assure you that we are actively working to address and resolve these concerns."

They added that customers can now expect to receive a monthly bill at the same time every month, regardless of whether they chose paper or electronic billing. Officials said the issue "should resolve itself" as this transition sets in.
