LANSDALE, PA — If you've ever wanted to get started being involved with town government in Lansdale, local officials are now offering the chance.

The borough is seeking volunteers for all sorts of boards, committees, commissions, and task forces as the new year gets underway. "The Borough of Lansdale recognizes the importance of the input it receives from citizens," the borough said in a statement.

Specifically, there are openings on two openings on the Economic Development Committee, one on the Environmental Advisory Commission, two on the Human Relations Commission, and one on the Police Pension Board.

Anyone interested should send a letter of interest, including any relevant experience for that particular position, to smaile@lansdale.org. Letters can also be mailed to Board Vacancies c/o Stacie Maile, at One Vine Street, Lansdale, PA 19446.
