Lansdale SEPTA Parking Garage Construction Set To Begin

After months of planning and even more months of anticipation, the borough is ready to begin.

LANSDALE, PA -- After months of planning and even more months of anticipation, the borough is ready to begin construction on the new SEPTA station parking garage.

Work will begin within the next month, the borough announced.

Two open houses have been scheduled to keep residents up to date on construction facts, possible delays, schedules, and more.

The first will be on March 8 from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The second will be on March 12 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The public is welcome to stop by the open houses, held at the Council Chambers at the Municipal Complex on One Vine Street, at any time.

Construction was originally slated to begin in the summer of 2015 after the garage was approved.

It is estimated that the project will take about 18 months to complete, meaning that it will be finished sometime around the end of 2017.
