Lansdale Plans National Night Out Celebration

A dunk tank, food, drinks, bounce house, obstacle course, and more highlight this free event celebrating police and community relations.

LANSDALE, PA — Lansdale police have announced plans for the 2021 National Night Out, the annual event celebrating community and police partnerships and neighborhood pride.

The event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 3, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Lansdale Borough Hall.

"National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community," police said. "It also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances."

The free event includes various giveaways, food, drinks, a bounce house, obstacle course, dunk tank, and more.

The Fairmount Fire Company, Central Montco TAC Team, Montco Public Safety, Mission Kids, PA Attorney General’s Office, Abington-Lansdale Hospital, Access Services, Malvern Health, North Penn YMCA, and others will be on hand with tables, demonstrations, and giveaways.

The night, which is held locally in municipalities around the country, has been ongoing for decades. 2021 marks the 38th anniversary.
