'Major' Traffic Problems Close Down Turnpike Near Lansdale

The southbound lanes of the Pennsylvania turnpike closed near the Lansdale interchange early Tuesday afternoon, according to the Upper Gwynedd Emergency Management Agency.

The agency also posted on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon that there was a “major” traffic problem on Valley Forge Road westbound.

Motorists should avoid the area until further notice.
