Man Struck, Killed In Hatfield, Investigation Underway: Police
One man is dead after being struck and killed in Hatfield Township, police said.
HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — One man was killed in an accident over the weekend in Hatfield Township.
The incident occurred at 6:19 a.m. near 1330 N. Broad Street.
A 2013 Mercedes Benz SUV was heading west when it struck a 34-year-old man who was walking in the road, police said.

The driver stopped his vehicle immediately and remained on the scene, police said.
Volunteer Medical Services Co. arrived to provide assistance but the man was declared dead.

"At this time, the Hatfield Police Traffic Safety Unit is continuing its investigation into this crash and no further information will be provided pending notifications," police said in a statement.
The investigation remains ongoing.
