Montgomery Twp. Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested: Police
Authorities said the man fled the scene of the robbery a month ago and was not caught until Thursday.

MONTGOMERY TOWNSHIP, PA — A man who robbed a Montgomery Township bank before fleeing a month ago was captured by authorities late Thursday, officials announced.
The incident occurred back on Dec. 5 at the Santander Bank on Welsh Road at around 4:54 p.m.
The man, whose name has not yet been released by authorities, provided the bank teller with a note requesting money, police said.

He then fled with an unknown amount of cash about five minutes later, according to authorities.
He wore a face mask and winter hat during the robbery.

The suspect was arrested Thursday after attempting a similar robbery in Bucks County, police said.
The FBI continues to assist Montgomery Township Police in their ongoing follow-up investigation.
A preliminary hearing for the suspect is forthcoming.
