New Hatfield Police Facility Gets $393K Funding
The grant will also help provide public access to the nearby Hatfield Township Nature Area.
HATFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Hatfield Township has received major funding from the state to help build its new police facility.
The $393,750 grant to the township will provide various roadway and sidewalk enhancements to the area around the facility, which is already under construction.
“After having the honor of recently breaking ground at what will be Hatfield’s new police facility, I now have the pleasure of announcing additional funding will be used to ensure its success,” State Rep. Steve Malagari said in a statement. “I want to thank the community leaders who advocated for this grant and made this all possible.”

The grant will also provide for better access to the Hatfield Township Nature Area, which is adjacent to the new police facility.
The funding was provided by the Multimodal Transportation Fund of the Commonwealth Financing Authority.
