New Principal Set To Join North Penn Elementary School Monday

There's a new sheriff in town at Montgomery Elementary School.

NORTH WALES, PA – There's a new sheriff in town.

The North Penn School District is preparing to welcome Thomas J. Seidenberger as the new principal of Montgomery Elementary School, they announced in a press release.

Seidenberger will officially join the district on Monday, April 18.

Seidenberger is coming from the Southern Lehigh Intermediate School, where he taught fourth and fifth grade since August of 2010, North Penn said.

There, he’s been an active member of the Leadership Committee, Liberati Memorial Scholarship Committee and served as a Principal’s Intern during the 2014-2015 school year.

"The North Penn School District is proud to welcome Mr. TJ Seidenberger to the North Penn team," they said in a statement. "The district would also like to express their gratitude and appreciation to NPSD retiree Maureen Coffeey for assuming the role of Montgomery’s principal during the interim."

Seidenberger has also been heavily involved with the athletics program at Southern Lehigh High School, currently serving as the Assistant Coordinator of Athletic Services since February of 2012.

Seidenberger received his BS in Criminal Justice from Shippensburg University in December 2005. He received his Elementary Education Certification from Moravian College and his Registered Athletic Administer Certification from the University of Maine in December 2007 and November 2012, respectively. Finally, Mr. Seidenberger earned his Master of Education: Education Leadership in September 2013 from Lehigh University.

Seidenberger is the co-founder of “Coach Evaluator,” a software program for school districts and athletics organizations which aids in properly evaluating personnel in a fully customizable, secure platform. He is currently a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors Association, the National Interscholastic Athletics Administrators Association and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
