North Penn Announces Delayed Opening Tuesday

Conditions will be monitored in the morning; check back for updates.

North Penn Schools will open two hours late on Tuesday due to the snow. “We will be monitoring the conditions in the morning, please check back in the morning for any changes,” North Penn said on its website.

According the announcement on the district’s website, all morning kindergarten at Walton Farm and Bridle Path will attend school from 10:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Afternoon Kindergarten at Walton Farm and Bridle Path will attend from 1:10 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Kindergarten at all other Elementary Schools will report to school at 11:10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Afternoon Kindergarten at all other Elementary Schools will report at 1:50 p.m. to 3:40 p.m.

Extended School Care will open at 9 a.m., the district said.

More than a foot of snow is possible for the region through Wednesday, the National Weather Service said.
