North Penn To Host Community Forum: Teaching And Learning In The Digital Age
Technology professionals will lead a discussion on how technology has changed education and the student experience.

LANSDALE, PA – Teaching and Learning in the Digital Age will be the topic of Community Forums on Wednesday, April 27, the North Penn School District announced.
The forums are open to community members and parents who want to give input about technology implementation.
NPSD Superintendent Dr. Curtis R. Dietrich and Director of Technology Dr. Kristen Landis will lead a conversation about how technology has changed the way education is delivered and how students learn, the district said.

The idea of providing laptops to students to use in school and at home will be presented, including possible costs for parents.
Gathering feedback on the future of technology integration for our students is crucial. Participants at the forum and those watching at home on NPTV will have an opportunity to provide feedback on the important topic.

Two sessions of the community forum will be held, once at 10:00 a.m. at the ESC, 401 East Hancock Street, Lansdale and later at 6:30 p.m. in the Penndale Middle School Auditorium, 400 Penn Street, Lansdale.
The evening session of Teaching and Learning in the Digital Age at 6:30 p.m. can be viewed live on North Penn Television, Comcast Cable channel 28 and Verizon FIOS cable channel 29. In addition, the public can participate and view the evening session live online at www.npenn.org/forum.
