LANSDALE, PA — The Lansdale Police Department has ramped up their summer "enforcement" by "ticketing" kids who are do good acts for their community.

This "citation" will be in the form of a coupon for free 7-Eleven slurpees.

The Lansdale Police Department and 7-Eleven are partnering on a Community Policing Project celebrating good behavior, officials said. For example, children who are seen wearing bicycle helmets, participating in community activities, or helping their parents might be able to score a "ticket" from police.

"So kids, if you see an officer, let them know about your kind acts, but don't expect a free hand out...you gotta earn it," police said in announcing the initiative.
