PennDOT Will Take Over Parcels of Five Points Intersection From Montgomery Township

It is the next step in a larger plan to ease traffic in one of the region's most congested spots.

PennDOT will take charge of two parcels of the Five Points intersection from Montgomery Township, according to a report by The Reporter.

Township supervisors unanimously agreed on Monday to sell the 27,000 square feet plot for $93,000, according to the report.

The state will now implement upgrades to intersection including expanding the road and adding traffic lights, the report states.

The Five Points area is the intersection of Routes 309, 463, and 202.
