Poets Visit Lansdale-Area Schools

Creative writing classes at Souderton Area High School this week as part of National Poetry Month, according to a report by The Reporter.

Local poets Kristina Moriconi and Yolanda Wisher talked to students about art, style, and creative writing, the report stated:

They both seemed to communicate is what American poet Rita Dove had said: “poetry is language at its most distilled and most powerful.”

They also discussed the art of turning current events and personal experience into poetry in the digital age, the report elaborated.
