Rock Blasting To Take Place For Next 2 Months In Towamencin
Excavation for a new development requires the blasting, which will occur every weekday for months, officials said.
TOWAMENCIN TOWNSHIP, PA — New development in Towamencin Township will require what authorities are calling "controlled blasting" of rock in the area every weekday over the next two months.
The project is part of the new warehouse being built at 1600 Delp Drive in Towamencin, near Dock Woods.
Crews with American Rock Mechanics will blast the rock beginning on May 16. Blasting will take place once per day, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., officials said.
