Schoolhouse Road To Be Restricted In Franconia

FRANCONIA, PA — Additional traffic is possible in the Franconia area as there will be a lane closure on Schoolhouse Road next week, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) said.

The closure will impact the area between Wambold Road and Skippack Creek Road on Thursday, Aug. 24 and Friday, Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Officials said that crews will be performing trench restoration in the area.

Franconia Sewer Authority will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

Motorists should allow additional time when traveling through the work area. Slowdowns are expected, PennDOT said.
