Some North Penn Residents Can Save $500 A Year On Tax Rebate
Low income residents and the elderly can benefit from the program. Here's what you need to know.
LANSDALE, PA — Residents in the area of the North Penn School District can save nearly $500 a year through a unique tax rebate program, according to school officials.
The rebate program is open to certain residents who make less than $35,000, and are either 65 or older, permanently disabled, or widowed and over 55.
“Since its inception in 2018, we have saved more than 1,300 residents a total of $159,119 through our Tax Rebate Program,” NPSD Chief Financial Officer Steve Skrocki said. “We’re thrilled with these numbers and we want to see them continue to grow. That’s why this year, we revised the program to save our eligible community members even more money.”

Up to $487 can be saved per household per year for residents in the minimum income bracket.
The North Penn School District will hold virtual information sessions to educate the public on the program. They'll be held on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m. and again at 6 p.m.
