SUV Crashes Into Vehicle, Then Church In Lansdale; 3 Hospitalized

Several people were injured during the weekend incidents on West Main Street.

LANSDALE, PA — An SUV crashed into another vehicle before slamming into a church in Lansdale over the weekend, police said.

The incident occurred on Saturday, March 15 at around 1:11 p.m. near 500 West Main Street.

The vehicle, a black Range Rover, was headed east on West Main Street when it struck a silver GMC Sierra, severely damaging it, police said.

Both occupants of the GMC suffered injuries that were classified as "non-life threatening" and were transported to Lansdale Hospital by VMSC.

The Range Rover continued on until it reached St. John's United Church of Christ, where it collided with the church's front stairs.

It's not yet clear how the driver lost control.

The Range Rover driver also suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken by VMSC to Grandview Hospital.
