Cops: Victims Of Lansdale Stabbings Are Cousins

Police said the two females who were stabbed Wednesday morning are related.

The two victims of the stabbing attacks in Lansdale on Wednesday morning are cousins, according to a Lansdale Police Department press release.

More details emerged Wednesday evening on the stabbings that put two females in the hospital and saw one man arrested.

Sometime in the morning two females, aged 22 and 26, were attacked by a 29-year-old suspect who authorities believe may have been in a relationship with the 22-year-old, police said.

The couple became involved in an argument at their Oakwood Garden Apartments residence and the older cousin came to investigate. The younger cousin cried out for help, and that was when the stabbings began, police said.

Police said they arrived on the scene at 8:40 a.m.

An Upper Gwynedd officer shortly thereafter found the suspect barricaded inside a bathroom at the Lansdale Train Station, police said.

The suspect had bad injuries to his hands from the conflict. Charges are pending, according to the report.
