'Violent, Aggressive' Lansdale Child Rapist Sent Away For Decades: Report

"This was an extremely violent, aggressive, heinous crime perpetrated against a child."

A convicted Lansdale child rapist has been sentenced to 20 to 44 years in prison for raping a girl between 2004 and 2012, according to The Reporter.

Timothy Patrick Dunigan, 22, had been convicted last February, the report states.

“This was an extremely violent, aggressive, heinous crime perpetrated against a child,” Assistant District Attorney Kristen Feden reportedly said. “Because of the duration of the assault and the violent nature of the assault, it has had a detrimental effect on (the victim) and her family,” said Feden. “But at the sentencing, she gathered enough courage to face her abuser and tell him exactly how she felt. She was a brave young woman.”
