Win a Free Turkey at the Towamencin Turkey Trot

Want to win a turkey just in time for Thanksgiving? Then lace up those running shoes.

The annual Towamencin Turkey Trot 5K is scheduled for Nov. 22 at 9 a.m. at Fischer’s Park, 2225 Bustard Road, Lansdale

The top male and female runners will win a turkey. All runners will get a long-sleeved tech shirt. This year’s race will feature chip timing and a certified course. Pets and strollers are welcome.

Enjoy light snacks after the race and stick around for the awards ceremony, which will begin at 10 a.m. in the Arneth Amphitheater.

The cost to participate is $25. Registration closes Nov. 14—there is no walk up registration. To register, visit www.active.com or www.towamencin.org. Additionally, there will be a free Fun Run for children 10 and younger. No registration is necessary for the children’s run.
