10 Cars Vandalized Since Saturday: Police

The incidents were reported to Middletown Township Police and include smashed windows, egged cars and more.

Police in Middletown Township have reported at least 10 incidences of criminal mischief to cars over the past four days.

According to police, the incidents include:

  • While on regular patrol on Sept. 5 at 7 a.m., police found that a 2003 Honda Accord parked on Cobalt South Drive had been struck with eggs and had flour poured all over it by unknown actor(s). No damage to vehicle except clean-up costs.
  • Victim reported at on Sept. 5 at 2:29 p.m., he found that unknown actor(s) scratched “Marte” on the passenger side door of his 2009 Nissan Murano parked at the Chesterfield Apartments, Veterans Hwy. It is unknown at this time the value of the damage.
  • While on regular patrol on Sept. 6 at 4:28 a.m., police found that a 2007 Chevrolet Cavalier parked on Healy Way had the rear window broken out by unknown actor(s). Estimated value of the damage is $500.
  • Victim reported on Sept. 6 that sometime overnight, unknown actor(s) struck her 2015 Honda Accord with numerous eggs while it was parked in the driveway of her home on Hybrid Road. It is unknown at this time if there is permanent damage.
  • Victim reports that on Sept. 6 at 8:38 p.m., unknown actor(s) had struck his mother-in-law’s 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse with eggs while it was parked on Wheatsheaf Lane. It is unknown at this time if there is permanent damage.
  • Victim reports that on Sept. 6 at 10:28 p.m., unknown actor(s) had struck her 2008 Volkswagen Jetta with eggs while it was parked on Wheatsheaf Lane. It is unknown at this time if there is permanent damage.
  • Police also found that on Sept. 6 at 10:28 p.m., unknown actor(s) had struck a 2014 Jeep Wrangler with eggs while it was parked on Wheatsheaf Lane. It is unknown at this time if there is permanent damage.
  • Victim reported on Sept. 7 that sometime during the overnight of Sept. 5, unknown actor(s) had broken off the left side view mirror on her 2001 Ford Focus. Estimated value of damage is unknown.
  • Victim reported on Sept. 7 that sometime during the overnight of 9/6/15, unknown actor(s) had splattered paint on the windows and hood of her 2012 Chevrolet Equinox. There was no permanent damage.
  • Victim reported on Sept. 7 at 11:34 p.m. while he was traveling westbound on Frosty Hollow Road near the Snowball Gate section, unknown actor(s) threw eggs at his vehicle. Estimated value of damage is unknown.
