2 Robberies, Minutes Apart, In Bristol On Monday
A bank inside the Acme grocery store and a pharmacy on the same road were both robbed Monday evening, police said.

BRISTOL, PA — One person is in custody and police are searching for another after a pair of robberies that happened minutes apart near Five Points in Bristol on Monday.
The first robbery happened at about 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Citizens Bank inside the Acme at 6800 New Falls Road in Levittown. Police say a woman acted as if she had a weapon inside her pocket and made off with cash from the bank.
Shortly afterward, officers found a woman who matched the bank robber's description. The woman had cash in her pockets, according to Bristol Township Police.

Then, at 7:09 p.m., an apparently unrelated robbery took place at the Rite Aid just down the street at 8716 New Falls Rd. There, police say a man was pretending to make a purchase when he grabbed cash from a register and ran out of the store.
A police K-9 unit was brought to the scene to try to track the robber, but investigators were not immediately able to catch the man, police said.
