2 Victims Of Crashes ID'd In Levittown

A skateboarder was killed in Bristol Township Friday and a pedestrian in Middletown Township earlier this month, the Bucks coroner said.

LEVITTOWN, PA —Two men have been identified after being killed in accidents, one in Bristol Township last week and another in Middletown Township earlier this month, authorities said.

Bucks County Coroner Meredith Buck said that Joel Steven Moreau, 28, was killed while on his skateboard on Haines Road in Bristol Township Friday night.

Buck said his cause of death was determined to be from multiple injuries and his manner of death was determined as accidental.

The hit-and-run accident remains under investigation by the Bristol Township Police Department. Anyone with information related to the accident is asked to call 215-785-4040.

Buck also reported that a pedestrian identified as 65-year-old John Affelt from Middletown Township, who wandered off from a long-term care facility, was struck by a motor vehicle on Trenton Road in Middletown Township earlier this month on Nov. 1.

His cause of death is also determined to be multiple injuries with the manner of death determined as accidental. The police reported that the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene and was cooperating with the investigation.

“The Bucks County Coroner’s Office conveys their deepest condolences to the family and friends of both victims as they grieve the tragic loss of their loved ones," Buck said.
