3 Philly Teens Found Delinquent In Burglary Of Langhorne Gun Shop

The 16-year-olds are in a secure Bucks County facility after the May 30 theft of 20 guns followed by a police pursuit, authorities said.

MIDDLETOWN TOWNSHIP, PA —Three Philadelphia teenagers have been found delinquent for their roles in the late May burglary of a Langhorne gun shop that then led authorities on a chase into New Jersey, authorities said.

The Bucks County District Attorney's Office said three 16-year-olds were adjudicated delinquent —the term used when children under age 18 commit a crime — last week for their roles in a May 30 burglary of a Middletown Township gun store.

They were placed in a secure facility in Bucks County for several offenses, including burglary, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a firearm without a license, authorities said.

The gun shop is well known as a custom gun manufacturer, especially with the classic German lugars, and gun restoration and antique business.

As officers arrived, they saw a vehicle pulling out of the gun store parking lot and attempted to stop it.

A brief pursuit ended with the vehicle crashing in Trenton and the occupants fleeing on foot.

More than 20 stolen handguns and rifles were recovered from the vehicle, which had also been reported stolen.

The three juveniles were taken into custody in Trenton a short time later.

The case was investigated by the Middletown Township Police Department, Falls Township Police Department, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), and the Trenton Police Department.
